Who should start in the New York Rangers crease?
The question was put to coach Peter Laviolette and The Maven has the answer.
First name: Jonathan; Second Name: Quick.
Why?
Because Quick is better and proved it last night beating one of the NHL's best teams, Colorado, and beating allegedly the best goalie in the league, Alex Georgiev.

Why?
Because Quick has demonstrated that he -- not Igor Shesterkin -- is in mint winning condition.
Why?
Because Quick has playoff -- alias Cup-Winning -- experience.
Why?
Because -- though they might not say it -- players have more confidence with the tried and true vet. Ergo: They WIN with him.
And the Blueshirts will continue to win with Jon Quick down the stretch.
Conclusion: Now it's Shesterkin's turn to prove his reliability — when the opportunity presents itself.
