Matt Rempe, challenged to drop the gloves again in Columbus goes toe-to-toe with Mathieu Olivier
In the first period of tonight's New York Rangers game in Columbus vs. the Blue Jackets, Matt Rempe was once again challenged.
No. 73 did what he always has done at the NHL level.
Accept.

Olivier was jawing at Rempe pregame and then followed up with the challenge during the two heavyweight's first shift.
Two questions.
1- Should Rempe be more selective with his opponents going forward. He might be valuable on the ice, as a wrecking ball - see Nate Bastian - or in front of the crease as he was in Philly to score his shin-goal, and his almost goal with three minutes left in the first period in Columbus he almost scored in the dirty area on a rebound.
2-Have you ever seen another NHL toughie enter the Big Show to this kind of welcome? Everyone, I mean, everyone wants a piece of Rempe. They are lining up. Why?
