Statistics through the Ranger's first 27 games from 9 different skaters that helped the team conquer the Eastern Conference.

The New York Rangers surged to the top of the standings to begin the 2023-2024 campaign. Advanced stats can be confusing and don't always tell the whole story.

Below are straightforward stats that put numbers to some of the obvious successes of the Blueshirts this season.

Will Cuylle- The 21-year-old rookie is 12th in hits in the NHL and tied for 3rd in goals scored (4) at MSG on the team this season.

Jacob Trouba- The Rangers captain is second in the entire NHL in blocks (94), and sixth in hits by a defenseman (61).

Nick Bonino- "Bones" has 53 blocked shots, more than the next-best forward by 14 blocks.

Vincent Trocheck- Aside from being one of the Ranger's best forwards, Trocheck is second in the NHL in FOW% (63.4%).

Jimmy Vesey/ K'Andre Miller: Vesey and Miller are tied with Chris Kreider for the most game-winning goals for the club this season.

Vesey's led the charge for the fourth line, shutting down players like David Pastrnak and Anze Kopitar, and punishing them with game-winning goals.

As for Miller, when he scores, the Rangers are 14-1-2 in the regular season and the playoffs. He can get hot on offense, a major plus for the Rangers back end.

Artemi Panarin- "The Bread Man" looks like a new player this season, shooting the lights out with 105 shots on goal. He bested a record set by "Mr. Ranger" in 1972, recording a point in 15 games to open the season, the longest streak in Ranger history. He also leads the team in goals, assists, and points.

Jonathan Quick- 8-0-1, 2.20 GAA , .922 SV%, 2 shutouts.

Mika Zibanejad- The Rangers 1C is 4th on the team in goals with 8. For how quiet he has been to start the season, it is both imperative and no question that he will heat up as the season continues.

Chris Kreider: Since 2021, Chris Kreider has led the league in power-play goals and shorthanded goals. Has 7 PPG this season and 2 SHGs. He is currently 4th all-time in goals in club history (279).
