Talk about speed.
Not that the Rangers had been slow as molasses but the additions of Jack Roslovic and Alex Wennberg have added to the giddyup that's already been there.

Chris Drury's trade deadline additions are as subtle as the headlines that greeted their arrival and so are their games. Unspectacular yet effective.
This was evident during last night's 3-1 victory over the Devils.
Roslovic's adroit forechecking hounded the enemy defense and it's apparent that he snugly fits on the line with Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad
"They bring speed," said coach Peter Laviolette.
Likewise, Wennberg has been at home alongside Will Cuylle and Kaapo Kakko. But let's not forget that the triumph must be taken in perspective. The Devils are fading faster than the cream in your coffee and last night employed a newly-acquired back up goalie.
Not surprisingly Jonathan Quick (14-5-2) was his usual mature, solid, confident self; good when it mattered. I only wish he'd use more of him but tonight it has to be Igor Shesterkin's turn and, really, you can't argue with that.
Tonight will tell us more about the New New York Rangers -- a lot more. Bear in mind that the Canes not only were picked to finish first by The Hockey News Yearbook but also they'll be the team that will win The Stanley Cup.
Adding Jake Guentzel and Evgeny Kuznetsov to the lineup at the Trade Deadline should bolster an already solid lineup but The Maven insists that the Rangers have the edge in goal but not defense with captain Jacob Trouba sidelined indefinitely with injury.
Carolina has successfully been coached by Rod Brind'Amour who says he's "excited" about the new additions. "Now we have to get them up to speed," Rod added.
Put it this way; I'm impressed with the Rangers at this point but The Maven will be even more impressed if they win tonight!
