All the Rangers have done since the All-Star break is win hockey games, knocking off the Blackhawks for their fourth-straight win.

The New York Rangers won their fourth straight game Friday night, defeating the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in overtime at the United Center.

After watching the first two games following the All-Star break from the bench, Igor Shesterkin made 28 saves to snap a personal three-game slide.

The Blackhawks did get the scoring started just 2:39 into the game, as defenseman Alex Vlasic hopped on a loose puck before wiring a wrist shot from the top of the left circle past a screened Shesterkin.

But the Rangers didn’t need long to knot the game up at 1-1. Just 2:10 after the Vlasic goal, Alex Lafreniere finished off a beautiful pass from KeAndre Miller via a one-timer at 4:49 of the first for his 14th of the season.

Artemi Panarin earned the secondary assist.

The Rangers weren’t done, as 1:27 after the tying tally, Chris Krieder buried his 24th goal of the season. Adam Fox made a tremendous back-skate move in the low slot, along with a toe drag, before he laid it off to Krieder, who tapped the puck in at the blocker-side post.

Ryan Lindgren recorded the secondary assist.

The Rangers enter 2-1 after one period, along with a 12-7 lead in the shot department.

Johnny Brodzinski scored his second goal in as many games at 9:10 of the second after cleaning up a rebound.. It was the second rebound attempt that went in, extending the Rangers’ lead 3-1. Kaako took the initial shot, and Cuylle tried to jam it home first.

The second period ended with the Rangers holding onto their lead at a 3-1 score. They continued their dominance in the shot department with 17 in the middle frame.

The Blackhawks cut the deficit to one and a 3-2 score when Nick Foligno potted a goal with 6:23 to go in the third period.

The Blackhawks tied the game at 3-3 with 62 seconds remaining.

Jason Dickinson beautifully deflected the puck, changing its direction and getting it past Shesterkin.

Seth Jones had the primary assist with the initial shot and Kurashev had the secondary.

But in overtime, Mika Zibanejad scored on a 3-on-2 for his 16th season to secure the extra point.
