On Sunday, the New York Rangers battle the Washington Capitals for Game 1, with puck drop coming your way at 3 PM ET.
Rookie Matt Rempe and his physical brand of hockey has earned him a start on the Rangers' fourth line, which means he gets a chance to face a player he admired growing up: Tom Wilson.

"I like the way he plays, plays hard. Very skilled player as well. It’s a guy who does a lot of different things," Rempe said. "Obviously, I got a lot of respect for that guy. I think he’s a hell of a player. When I was younger, I think there was this montage of him on YouTube just blowing guys up. I used to watch that sometimes when I was younger. It got me fired up. I know he’s a really good competitor.” (H/T Mollie Walker)
The 21-year-old will be energized, excited, nervous, and full of adrenaline, especially when he comes face-to-face with the 29-year-old Wilson.
Ahead of Game 1, Wilson was asked by our colleague Sammi Silber about Rempe.
