Game in and game out the Blueshirts are getting big goals from everybody. That continued in the second meeting between the Rangers and the Red Wings.

New York City, NY: The New York Rangers are an abyss when it comes to scoring depth. 20,000 leagues ahead of its NHL opponents.

The Blueshirts had chance after chance and Ville Husso provided the stopping power for the Red Wings making 37 saves. It wasn't enough to take down the best team in the NHL.

The Rangers were lifted by Alexis Lafreniere driving play on New York's most dynamic line, another clutch goal from K'Andre Miller, and Jimmy Vesey with his second game-winning goal of the season.

No matter how you shake it up, the Rangers are getting results from every skater.

Peter Laviolette had praise for Vesey, who was a healthy scratch the first game of the season. Since October 13th, he is arguably the Ranger's best all-around asset, "I said at the time he didn't deserve to be scratched. Right now he seems to be in a little bit of a groove... He got himself back to the point where he can't come out of the lineup."

K'Andre Miller knotted the game up with on blast from the point. When he scores, the Rangers are 13-0, even in the playoffs. The promising 23-year-old has the confidence to walk the walk and talk the talk, stating post-game, "It feels like the 'No Quit in New York' phrase is coming back."

The first goal scorer was Artemi Panarin. Earlier this week he stated the X's and O's on how he has adapted to Alexis Lafreniere carrying through the neutral zone. It allows him to be the open man on rushes-up ice, a better scoring position. After the win, he was happy to tally off of his teammate's saucy dish, "Usually I miss the easy ones, I just got to hit the net."

Depth is like a muscle. A hockey team's body can only grow when that muscle is exercised. The Rangers look like a bodybuilder flexing on every opponent they face.
