The club is 4-0-0 when wearing the third jersey at home. It will be the fifth time the Rangers will wear the sweater since they were released on Dec. 1.
The Rangers will be wearing the uniforms five more times this season: Feb.7 against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Mar. 9 against the St. Louis Blues, Mar. 17 against the New York Islanders, Mar. 23 against the Florida Panthers, and Apr. 3 against the New Jersey Devils.
The team is 4-6-2 in January and returns home for the first time in four games following a 1-2-1 road trip. They are 15-6-0 at home this season.
