The New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks are set to face-off tonight at 10:00PM EST. It will be Igor Shesterkin against Casey DeSmith in goal.

Thatcher Demko got the start last night for the Vancouver Canucks, so tonight, being that it's the latter half of a back-to-back, Casey DeSmith will get the nod. DeSmith has been stellar in his two starts this season. He is boasting a record of 2-0-0 with a .938 SV% and a 2.73 GAA.

DeSmith Career vs. Rangers: 3-2-1 with a .879 SV% and 3.46 GAA.

For the Rangers, a well rested Igor Shesterkin will stand in the blue paint tonight. Shesterkin was phenomenal in his last start, which came on October 24th in Calgary. He made 25 saves and led the team to a 3-1 victory. This season, Shesterkin hasn't put up insane numbers, but for the most part he's been strong. On the year, Shesterkin is 3-2-0 with a .897 SV% and a 2.66 GAA.

Shesterkin Career vs. Canucks: 2-0-1 with a .889 SV% and a 3.29 GAA.
