Both Adam Fox and Igor Shesterkin appear to be trending toward making a return to the New York Rangers’ lineup after the Olympic break.

They’ve missed the past 13 games with lower-body injuries suffered on Jan. 5 against the Utah Mammoth.

Despite Fox still being listed on long-term injured reserve while Shesterkin remains on injured reserve, the two star players have been full participants at practice since the Rangers resumed activities on Feb. 17th.

“It’s awesome to see those guys back in full gear,” Braden Schneider said. “They are skating with us, working out with us, it’s awesome to see those guys back and in full gear and looking really good. They were probably in the best shape out of all of us. It’s great to see them back, and it’s definitely refreshing for sure.”

Fox rejoined the team before the Olympic break, practicing in a non-contact jersey, but this week is the first we’ve seen of Shesterkin since Jan. 5.
