At this point in the NHL playoffs, almost every player has sustained some sort of injury.
New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox was on the receiving end of a hard hit during the team’s first round series against the Washington Capitals and since then has taken a couple of maintenance days off.
This led many to believe that Fox may be playing through an injury, but when asked about it, Fox had a pretty simple answer.
“Good, ya,” Fox said on how he is feeling. “Ready to go for tomorrow.”
Even if Fox were actually to be injured right now which is entirely possible, it seems that it won’t affect his availability for the Eastern Conference Final against the Florida Panthers.
The 26-year-old’s 23:25 minutes pergame through these playoffs leads the entire Rangers team as he holds a heavy workload.
The Rangers will need their superstar defenseman to be at the top of his game if they are to defeat the Panthers en route to the Stanley Cup Final.
It’s a positive sign that there are no restrictions with Fox going into the Eastern Conference Final, so expect him to play a major factor in this series.
