During the New York Rangers’ Friday night matchup against the Ottawa Senators, Panarin struck gold early in the first period.
Alexis Lafrenière forced a turnover in the offensive zone and after stickhandling for a bit, Panarin ripped a shot through Travis Hamonic and past goaltender Linus Ullmark for a beautiful goal.
The 33-year-old forward now has recorded seven goals, nine assists and 15 points.
