Brett Berard has been listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

New York Rangers forward Brett Berard is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

While it’s not specifically confirmed, Beard likely suffered this injury after getting hit by Kirby Dach in the Rangers’ Saturday afternoon game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Berard went to the locker room following the hit from Dach, but quickly returned to the ice without a hint of anything bothering him.

The 22-year-old did not practice on Monday and will not play in tonight’s matchup against the New Jersey Devils.

Since the Rangers called up Berard, he’s been an impactful forward for the team and continues to show his high potential.

In four games, Berard has recorded one goal, one assist and three points while averaging 12:33 minutes per game.
