The Boston Bruins star forward was ejected from Saturday's contest for boarding Ryan Lindgren but did not receive supplemental discipline for his actions.

On Saturday David Pastrnak boarded Ryan Lindgren and was given a 5-minute major and a game misconduct penalty, ending his night at 18:10 of the second period.

The Rangers top pairing left defender briefly left the match following the hit but returned to play the rest of the game.

The latest reports suggest David Pastrnak has not received a hearing from the NHL Department of Player Safety.

Major boarding penalties have been frequent and a point of controversy this season. Of the 11 suspensions handed out by the NHLDPS this season, none of them are for Boarding fouls. The two skaters have a history of delivering hard checks against one another. Here is the play that resulted in the penalty:

Ryan Lindgren skated in the Ranger's practice today at Bentley University ahead of the team's next game. The Blueshirts take on the Toronto Maple Leafs tomorrow, December 19th at 7:00 P.M (EST). The Boston Bruins will host the Minnesota Wild tomorrow night as well at 7:00 P.M (EST), with No.88 likely suiting up to play.
