Even with J.T. Miller on the New York Rangers, new information continues to come out about his time with the Vancouver Canucks.
Miller took a ten-game leave of absence earlier in the season for reasons that still remain unidentified.
Before being traded, a reported rift between Miller and Elias Pettersson clouded around the Canucks organization and seemingly impacted their play.
Upon coming back from his leave of absence, the drama the team was dealing with reportedly did not get better.
"When Miller came back from his leave things just didn’t get better in terms of the relationship and the stress and things like that," Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman said. "I think everybody hoped he would come back and things would change and they didn’t. I think that was when the decision was made, that they were gonna move on."
It’s all water under the bridge now as Miller moves on to his next chapter in New York, but the circus-type atmosphere in Vancouver this year is certainly a topic of intrigue.
