The Rangers officially ruled out Filip Chytil for the remainder of their game against the Sharks with an upper-body injury.

Filip Chytil will not return to the New York Rangers’ game against the San Jose Sharks after suffering an apparent upper-body injury.

Chytil sustained this injury after colliding with K’Andre Miller and was slow to get up, looking wobbly before making his way to the bench.

The 24-year-old quickly made his way to the locker room and appeared to be frustrated.

Chytil did return for the remainder of the second period, but he was not seen in the third period at all.
