Jesper Fast will miss the entire 2024-25 season after undergoing neck surgery.
Former New York Rangers forward Jesper Fast has undergone neck surgery that will keep him out for the entirety of the 2024-25 season.
Fast signed with the Carolina Hurricanes back in 2020 and has been with the team ever since as he’s helped contribute to their incredible success over the past couple of seasons.
The 32-year-old forward suffered this severe neck injury during the Hurricanes’ final regular season game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
This past season, Fast recorded six goals, 13 assists and 19 points while averaging 12:36 minutes.

The Rangers selected Fast in the sixth round of the 2010 NHL Draft. He played seven seasons in New York, tallying 55 goals, 92 assists and 147 points.
