Gabe Perreault, Drew Fortescue and EJ Emery will all have an opportunity to play for Team USA at the 2025 World Junior Championship.
New York Rangers prospects Gabe Perreault, Drew Fortescue and EJ Emery have all made Team USA’s preliminary roster for the 2025 World Junior Championship.
There will be a training camp on Dec. 16-17 to determine which players will make the final 25-man roster.
The Rangers drafted Perreault with the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft and he continues to rise up the ranks of the NHL’s best prospects.
At Boston College last season, the 19-year-old forward recorded 19 goals, 41 assists and 60 points in 36 games. So far this year Perreault has tallied 20 points in 13 games.
Fortescue was selected in the third round back in 2023 and has sneakily shown a lot of potential since being drafted.
The 19-year-old defenseman put up four goals, four assists and eight points in 40 games last season.
Emery is the Rangers’ 2024 first-round pick as the team wanted to add more promising blueliners to their prospect pool.
The 18-year-old defenseman was in USHL this past year and now plays for the University of North Dakota where he’s produced one point in 15 games.
