
The New York Rangers selected Gabriel Perrault 23rd overall and Drew Fortescue 90th overall (3rd round,26th pick) in the 2023 NHL Draft.
For Team USA, Gabriel Perreault has posted two goals and four assists in Team USA's six games. He was named the quarter-final player of the game on Tuesday for his three-point outing against Team Latvia.
Drew Fortescue has also contributed on both ends, scoring the opening goal in the quarter-final matchup. He has three points in five games and holds a +6 rating.
Perreault set records for the United States National U18 team with 132 points in 63 games and is currently tied for third in the nation in points in the NCAA as a freshman for the resurrecting Boston College Eagles (5-20-25 in 17GP)
Fortescue began his career playing for the Don Bosco Prep Iron Men and skates on the blue line for Boston College. He is related to 2023 NCAA National Champion CJ McGee and Holy Cross Men's Hockey forward Liam McLineskey. All three cousins grew up in Pearl River, New York.
Team USA advanced to the semi-final and will play Sweden in Gothenburg tomorrow, Thursday, January 4th. The game can be watched on the NHL Network.
