How The Blueshirts Are Building Their Treadmill To Oblivion

The Rampaging Rangers have won yet another game at The World's (So It Says) Most Famous Arena and, no, this is not an April Fool joke after all. (Well, maybe, a little bit.)

So, let The Maven set this unrealistic passion play straight. Rangers  beat New Jersey for first time this season. (It took six months; what were they waiting for Easter?)

1. Although the Blueshirts gained two more points in the standings, it's like trying to cash a rubber check at your friendly bank that's closed for alterations.

2. Hot Stuff; Jaroslav Chmelař scored his third goal of the season. Better he should have gotten his Trifecta for Christmas when it would have counted. Now? Nah!

3. Fighting Goalies: When Iggy Shesterkin and Jake Markstrom finished their Sluggo vs. Puggo affair no one from MSG's fight club came running over with a contract. After all, good goalie fights happen about once every 20 years.

4. The Two Faces of Mika: They gave Mr. Zibanejad the Steven McDonald "Extra Effort" Award before The Magic Man potted his 33rd goal.
