Igor Sheterkin has a funny side to him.
Last week, during the New York Rangers’ 3-2 win over the San Jose Sharks, Igor Shesterkin attempted to score a goal on an empty net but was ultimately stopped by Macklin Celebrini.
When asked about the play, Shesterkin said that Celebrini should "be in school."
Celebrini is currently the youngest player in the NHL at 18-years-old as he was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft by the Sharks.
While Shesterkin is a man of few words, he has a sneaky sense of humor that comes out of nowhere on occasions like these.
