The recipe for success between J.T. Miller, Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad is simple.
The New York Rangers’ line of J.T. Miller, Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad have been buzzing.
Peter Laviolette made a gutsy decision to move Zibanejad to the wing so he could play alongside Miller and Panarin.
So far that risk has paid off in a big way.
In their three games together, this newly established trio has been the Rangers’ most productive line and it’s not even close.
Miller has brought a physical edge that seems to rub off well on Zibanejad and Panarin.
Laviolette feels these three players are just happy right now, which has contributed to their recent success.
“They seem excited to play with each other,” Laviolette said. “There were some results offensively right away. That builds a little hype inside of themselves. They are playing big minutes in tough matchups, yet they are still producing and doing a good job.”
Will this excitement last? Who knows, but for now Miller, Panarin and Zibanejad are putting on a show and we might as well enjoy it.
