In his third game since being traded by the Rangers, Kaapo Kakko found the back of the net.
Kaapo Kakko scored his first goal as a member of the Seattle Kraken on Sunday.
Right off of the face-off during the second period of Seattle’s game against the Colorado Avalanche, Kakko sniped the puck past Mackenzie Blackwood.
The Rangers traded Kakko to the Kraken last week in exchange for defenseman Will Borgen, a 2025 third-round pick and a 2025 sixth-round pick.
In three games with the Kraken, the 23-year-old forward has recorded one goal while averaging 13:37 minutes.
