After being a healthy scratch for two consecutive games Matt Rempe will play tonight against the Maple Leafs, going head-to-head with Ryan Reaves.
Both Matt Rempe and Ryan Reaves will be in the lineup for the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs’ Saturday night matchup.
Rempe has been a healthy scratch for three out of the four games the Rangers have played in this season.
Meanwhile, Reaves was a healthy scratch for Toronto's second game against the New Jersey Devils, but otherwise has consistently played.
Last season, the Rempe Vs. Reaves' matchup was hyped up and the two ultimately got into a fight, giving the fans a show that they all wanted to see.
The two enforces had nothing but positive things to say about each other following their heavyweight battle.
“He’s going to be a menace in this league,” said Reaves of Rempe.
“That guy is a legend. That guy has been one of the most feared men in the league for 15 years," Rempe said of Reaves.
Rempe is expected to play in the place of Jonny Brodzinski with this just being the 22-year-old’s second time cracking the lineup this season.
Keep an eye out for Rempe and Reaves as they could be in store for another epic fight.
