Matt Rempe scored his first goal of the season in the New York Rangers’ Tuesday night game against the Ottawa Senators.

Adam Edström gave Rempe a perfect pass in the offensive zone as the skating giant found himself all alone.

Rempe flashed off a nifty little backhand shovel to score his first NHL goal since the 2024 playoff series against the Washington Capitals.

Upon scoring, Rempe celebrated by putting his hands to his ears, urging the crowd to get loud.

Fans at Madison Square Garden erupted for the fan favorite and chants of ‘Rempe, Rempe’ rang loud across the world’s most famous arena.
