Mat Rempe is set to be a healthy scratch for the Rangers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final.

Matt Rempe will be a healthy scratch for the New York Rangers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Florida Panthers.

After not playing for the entirety of this series, Jonny Brodzinski is set to fill in for Rempe in the lineup.

Rempe played a playoff low 2:43 minutes during the Rangers’ 3-2 Game 5 loss on Thursday night.

While the enforcer has provided a strong physical presence, it looks that Peter Laviolette is searching for more of an offensive spark, which Brodzinski is capable of providing.
