Stan Fischler On Rangers Cup Chances

While it's always reassuring to hear New York Rangers sniper, Artemi Panarin being talked up as a potential Hart Trophy-winner -- however, he won't get it (unless... i'll get to that this afternoon.)

Not that our beloved baker doesn't deserve the MVP award -- HE DOES!

But when it comes to NHL award voting -- and the writers are involved --the tendency is to lean toward the big-name skaters north of the border such as Connor McDavid or Auston Matthews. (Each of those two are eminently MVP worthy.)

With 99 points in 71 games, Panarin "leaves everything out on the ice," says coach Peter Laviolette. "He plays his heart out."

Too true, but he won't win the other Hart!
