The New York Rangers have recalled Zac Jones and Brennan Othmann from The Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Jones was sent to the Wolf Pack just a few days ago on a conditioning loan as he played in just two games for the Rangers since Dec. 23 with his role continuing to diminish.

The 25-year-old defenseman played two games in Hartford through this recent stint and recorded one goal.

Othmann has been down in the AHL all season, but rumblings about the young forward potentially being called up has been picking up steam over the past few weeks.

Chris Kreider missed Sunday’s game with an apparent upper-body injury and it’s unclear if this Othmann call-up had anything to do with Kreider’s injury status.

The 22-year-old has tallied 12 goals, eight assists and 20 points in 27 games with the Wolf Pack this season.
