There have been a lot of rumors revolving around JJ Peterka and the New York Rangers.
A couple of reports indicated that the Rangers were interested in trading for Peterka, including one from Frank Seravalli stating that the Rangers have had advanced discussions with the Buffalo Sabres about Peterka.
However, Arthur Staple of The Athletic quickly countered Seravalli's bombshell by reporting the Rangers are not in on Peterka.
With less than two hours until the trade deadline, it doesn't appear Chris Drury will strike a deal for the 23-year-old forward.
The Rangers have been busy on the trade market this season as Drury has acquired Urho Vaakanainen, Will Borgen, J.T. Miller, Juuso Parssinen, Calvin de Haan, Brendan Brisson and Carson Soucy over the span of a few months.
