The Islanders released their preseason schedule on Thursday, providing Rangers fans with something to get excited about.
The New York Rangers are set to play the New York Islanders twice during the course of the 2024 preseason.
While the Rangers haven't released their preseason schedule, the Islanders did on Thursday and had a little sneak peak for Rangers fans.
The Rangers and Islanders will go head-to-head on September 24 at Madison Square Garden and on October 4 at UBS Arena.
The Islanders will also play the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers twice in the preseason.
The Rangers and Islanders played four times this past season as the Blueshirts won three of the four games.

On February 15, the two New York teams played an outdoor game at MetLife Stadium where the Rangers rallied back for a miraculous 6-5 overtime victory.
