The Rangers made two minor moves on Tuesday, adding more depth to their roster.
The New York Rangers have signed defenseman Casey Fitzgerald to a two-year contract and forward Bo Groulx to a one-year contract.
This past season, Fitzgerald recorded four goals, 17 assists and 21 points in 69 games for the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL.
The 27-year-old has just 63 games of NHL experience where he’s tallied a total of nine assists.
With the Anaheim Ducks last year, Groulx had two assists and zero goals, in 45 games while averaging 12:11 minutes of ice time.
The 24-year-old has been with the Ducks over the course of the past three seasons. Through 65 games, Groulx has produced one goal, four assists and five points.
