The New York Rangers coaching staff takes home its second NHLCA honor of the season.

The New York Rangers were awarded the "NHLCA Coaching Staff of the Month" for November. They were also named the coaching staff of the month in October.

Peter Laviolette, Dan Muse, Michael Peca, and additional new personnel were hired over the summer following the dismissal of Gerard Gallant.

The Rangers went 7-2-0 in October, and 9-2-1 in November. They are currently the best team in the NHL with 37 points in 23 games played, boasting an 18-4-1 record. They are 8-2-0 at home and 10-2-0 on the road.

The club won benchmark games in November against the Carolina Hurricanes, New Jersey Devils, and Boston Bruins to cement themselves as a Stanley Cup contender.
