Now that the anti-Adam Fox and anti-K'Andre Miller bloc have had their wishes granted, who's gonna save the New York defense?
Since not even the FBI, CIA nor the Secret Service knows exactly what ails the Rangers defensemen, it's tough to guess how long each will be sidelined.
But with his team well IN the playoff race GM Chris (I Know All About Injuries) Drury must find replacements.
For starters, he can insert Zac (Dying On The Vine) Jones and be pleasantly surprised. Or he can listen up to The Maven's super scout Jess Rubenstein for the answers
"Since Miller and Fox are expected to miss time," explains Rubenstein, "the best available defenseman Seth Jones in Chicago, who is an 'RHD' and a Top Four defender and would replace Fox.
"Columbus is looking to move Ivan Provorov who can play either side. He's a pending UFA but other teams want him."
Replacing Miller is another issue. Super Rubenstein believes that Anaheim owes the Rangers a favor. That could turn out to be Brian Dumoulin.
"He's a left-hander but comes with little offense to replace Miller," adds Jess. "On the other hand he's solid defensively; leaving Braden Schneider to look for more offense."
Aren't you glad you're not Chris Drury!!
(Personally, he could use Jess Rubenstein!)
