The Free Agent Frenzy has officially begun, and all eyes are on New York Rangers president and general manager Chris Drury to see what he’s going to do.

The top free agent that the Rangers have been linked to is defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov.

According to ESPN’s Emily Kaplan, expectations around the league are that Gavrikov will sign in New York to be Adam Fox's defensive partner.

Gavrikov was negotiating a contract extension with the Kings basically up until the wire, but he ultimately decided to test the open market and is now one of the most highly touted free agents this summer.
