THE GOOD:
1. The line of Noah Laba, Brett Berard and Will Cuylle played a "Refuse To Quit" game.
2. Minus Adam Fox, the Rangers defense stepped up. Kudos to Carson Sousy for the opening = goal. Braden Schneider and Scott Morrow played a good two-way game. Gavvy got the game-winner.
THE BAD:
1. J.T. Miller almost cost New York the game, coughing up the puck, leading to a key Dallas goal.
THE UGLY:
1. The power play went oh-for-five. That includes Mika, Breadman, Miller, Trocheck and Cuylle.
CONCLUSION: The most accurate hometown description of the game came courtesy of Hank Lundqvist. "The team needed this; the fans needed this and so did the Post Game Show.` (Thanks to Rich Isaak and Mark Weisman for their reliable input.)
