Filip Chytil’s health is still up in the air.
According to Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today, Peter Laviolette confirmed there is no update on Chytil’s current status and that he is still being evaluated.
He is still not skating while it’s still unclear if he will join the Rangers on their four-game road trip.
The 24-year-old suffered an upper-body injury during the Rangers’ game against the Winnipeg Jets after colliding with K’Andre Miller.
Chytil has a history of concussions, which was the concern when he suffered this injury as he was wobbly after the collision with Miller.
The Rangers are yet to put a timeline on Chytil’s return and Laviolette has not provided specific information about the injury.
