Second Goalie: The Rangers collectively blocked 23 shots in the game. Jacob Trouba led the way with 8 blocks, and Nick Bonino muffed 4 attempts. 

100: With the win, Igor Shesterkin becomes the 7th fastest goaltender to reach 100 wins in NHL history.

200: Adam Fox became the 6th fastest to 200 assists in NHL history on a Chris Kreider power-play tip-in goal. 

50 On the Horizon ?: Kreider notched his fourth and fifth goal in a season opener, becoming the 9th player with an SHG in a season opener for the New York Rangers.
