The New York Rangers could breathe a sigh of relief about Vincent Trocheck.
Trocheck suffered an undisclosed injury during Team USA’s game against Team Sweden on Monday night.
The 31-year-old forward left the game for a brief period of time before ultimately making his return.
According to Mollie Walker of The New York Post, Trocheck confirmed that he was “alright” following the contest, which is a good sign.
All signs point toward Trocheck playing in the 4 Nations Face-Off championship game on Thursday night against Team Canada.
Trocheck has played in all three games for the Americans through this tournament.
