Many players who are considered to be enforcers need to provide more than just toughness in today’s NHL or else the opportunity for them to play a big role is just not there.

Income Rempe, who would perceive to change the way fighting was talked about.

Rempe joined the Rangers during the middle of the 2023-24 season, but immediately made a noticeable impact.

He was fighting in what seemed like every game and the 21-year-old was starting to get national recognition for his physical attributes.

Rangers fans fell in love with Rempe and the whole entire league took notice of what he was doing.

Even other enforcers including Ryan Reaves relashed at the opportunity to fight Rempe and even challenged him to a brawl.

There is a level of respect that big-time hockey fighters have for Rempe.

“It was almost cool to see because it shows that fighting is not dead in this sport,” Reaves said about his fight with Rempe. “People still kind of get amped up for it and enjoy that part, so he seems to be a really nice humble kid. Talked to him in the box a little bit. He’s going to be a menace in this league.”

Rempe has gotten fans fired up about fighting again and opposing teams have to take notice of how much attention, publicity and just pure excitement having an enforcer the likes of Rempe can bring.
