James Dolan is not one to be patient as his team is losing, so big changes could be coming for the Rangers.

It's impossible to forecast what Garden boss James Dolan will do with his thoroughly beleaguered Rangers.

While it's possible that Dolan will simply stick it out with the current administration, there's every reason to believe that a continued losing streak might inspire changes.

It could result in GM Chris Drury firing coach Peter Laviolette while Dolan might conclude that the problem is rooted in Drury's mismanagement.

As far as finding a new coach is concerned, that would be easy. It has to be free agent Joel Quenneville.

Q is a proven quality with a resume that includes Stanley Cup victories.

A longshot – and likely a very popular one – would be Mark Messier who needs no introduction.

As for a general manager, The Maven goes right back to the man responsible for the Rangers last Stanley Cup, Neil Smith.

And to those who might object to that choice, I say why not?
