Per Winnipeg Jets PR, Head Coach Rick Bowness will miss tonight's game due to a minor medical procedure and has returned to Winnipeg for medical treatment. 

Scott Arniel will serve as head coach in his absence. 

Arniel was an associate coach for the New York Rangers from 2013 through 2018.

The Jets last game Sunday versus the Blue Jackets -- on St. Patrick's Day -- Winnipeg dominated from start to finish, and won 6–1.

Bowness has led the Jets to a Central Division leading 91 points in his second season as bench-boss of the Jets.
