Adam Fox is placed on the LTIR and Filip Chytil on the standard IR following injuries from last night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The New York Rangers will place Adam Fox on the LTIR and Filip Chytil on the standard injury reserve.  

Fox will be eligible to return in 10 games over the next 24 days. He is currently second among all NHL defensemen in points with 3 goals and 8 assists. 

The team will also be without Barclay Goodrow who is staying home to see the birth of his child, and Igor Shesterkin who is "banged up".

The club made transactions to fill in the roster for tomorrow's contest. Connor Mackey (D), Louis Domingue (G), and Jonny Brodzinski (F) were added to the roster from the Hartford Wolf Pack. 

The Rangers will play the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center in Minneapolis-St. Paul at 8:00 PM (EST).
