The National Hockey League announced today that New York Rangers forward Vincent Trocheck has been added to the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend

The Blueshirts second line pivot has recorded 44 points (15 goals, 29 assists) in 46 games played this season.

Without No.16 the Rangers would not be leading the Metropolitan Division in the standings, as his substitution for Filip Chytil on the team's second line has helped Alexis Lafreniere and Artemi Panarin reach new heights in production.

Trocheck ranks tied second on the team in points and is tied for first on the team in power-play goals

His only previous All-Star Game appearance was in 2017 for Team Atlantic, where he recorded one goal, and three assists in one game.

Additionally, Winnipeg Jets forward Kyle Connor was also added to the roster.

Trocheck and Connor will replace Jack Eichel of the Vegas Golden Knights and Connor Bedard of the Chicago Blackhawks. Both players suffered injuries and will be out long-term.

The Toronto Maple Leafs host the 2024 All-Star Weekend on February 1. 1-3.
