New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren absorbed a hit from Keegan Kolesar in the first period against the Vegas Golden Knights.
He will not return for the rest of the game with an upper-body injury.
Lindgren was skating with Braden Schneider a part of the team's new defensive pairs.
The 25-year-old rearguard immediately headed to the bench hunched over, and then left the ice and headed toward the Rangers locker room.
