However, the team did not rule out the possibility of Chytil joining the Rangers during the trip depending on how evaluations go. Chytil suffered this injury during New York’s Thursday night game against the San Jose Sharks after colliding with teammate K’Andre Miller. After making a brief return, Chytil exited and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the contest. The Rangers called up Jake Leschyshyn from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey Game as Chytil could miss some games.
