Some deals just make a whole lot of sense and this one tops the list because it leaves the current roster intact and that could mean the hotsy-totsy explosive, BIGGIE will happen before the Trade Deadline. Or, as "We Did Everything But Win" Rangers historian George Grimm notes: "It filled a need and didn't cost us and probably won't affect team chemistry the way last year's Patrick Kane fiasco did." Wennberg, at 29 is in his playing prime and has the size (6-2, 190 pounds) which is needed by the Blueshirts attacking corps. Plus, his ten years worth of NHL experience with Seattle, Florida and Columbus represents another asset. And let's not forget that he was a first round pick -- 14th overall -- by Columbus in the 2013 Draft.
