    If you were disappointed with the Flyers' signings in the 2025 NHL free agency period so far, just look at the Penguins.

    Desperately clinging to the twilight years of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, and Erik Karlsson, the Pens have only done so much as add middle-six wingers Anthony Mantha and Justin Brazeau.

    Oh, and they traded goalie Alex Nedeljkovic to San Jose, meaning Tristan Jarry, who was notably banished to the AHL last season, is now the undisputed starter. Is that how quickly things change in Pittsburgh?

    The Flyers, to be fair, would be lucky to have either goalie at this stage, but at least it seems they've finally embraced their rebuild unlike the rivals next door.
