Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports - Flyers Get Drysdale Back, Set To Play Against Islanders

The Flyers announced today that Jamie Drysdale will be back in the lineup against the New York Islanders tonight. Drysdale last played on February 25th against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was out due to an upper-body injury week-to-week.

It's a crucial game for the Flyers tonight as they face the New York Islanders. Sitting in the second wildcard spot, Philadelphia is in a position where every point matters. The team didn't gain any points this weekend and lost to the Montreal Canadians and the Chicago Blackhawks. With the playoffs drawing near, having Jamie Drysdale back on the top power play is a significant boost for the team's chances in this must-win game.

Another key player who returned to the lineup this past weekend was Nick Seeler. Seeler was dealing with a lower-body injury after taking a puck to the ankle/foot.

Sam Ersson will be in the net tonight, with Ivan Fedotov as the backup. Danny Briere made it very clear in his Friday press conference with Fedotov that Ersson had earned the starting goalie position since he had earned the role.
