The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that forward Sean Couturier will not be in the lineup against the Ottawa Senators due to a day-to-day lower-body injury. 

Couturier, 31, has appeared in 16 games this season with the Flyers, where he has three goals, eight points, and 16 hits. 

In addition to Couturier being out, the Flyers announced that goaltender Samuel Ersson will not dress because he has also suffered a day-to-day lower-body injury. 

In 11 appearances this season, Ersson has a 5-2-2 record, a 2.70 goals-against average, and a .902 save percentage.
