Four Flyers have been ruled out for their upcoming game against the Hurricanes.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that Cam York, Samuel Ersson, Jamie Drysdale, and Emil Andrae will all not be in the lineup against the Carolina Hurricanes. 

York, 23, has not played since Oct. 23's contest against the Washington Capitals. However, he has practiced in a regular jersey on Tuesday, so his return appears to be close. However, it will not be against the Canes.

Ersson, 25, has not played since Nov. 11 against the San Jose Sharks. In 11 games this season, he has a 5-2-2 record, a 2.70 goals-against average, and a .902 save percentage. 

Drysdale, 22, last played on Nov. 9 against the Florida Panthers. In 15 games this season, he has one goal, two assists, and a minus-10 rating.

Andrae has three assists and a plus-1 rating in 10 games this season with the Flyers. His last appearance was on Nov. 16 against the Buffalo Sabres.
